i thought it was set up right; i have it set to get updates and it says on twitter it's going to the right number. and a friend did send a message through twitter (i'm very sure) that i got on my phone. i just haven't gotten anything else since then...

Lucia. To make it very clear - i love pandora and I would be lying if I said that I don't constantly use it. Sorry if the post came off crudely.

Mostly I just thought it was hilarious when I gave a "thumbs up" The Finches and I was met with a dude pumping iron. BUT... let's be honest, if you enlarge the photo above, you'll notice that I have a "Daughtry" station - so the ad may have been attempting to related to the bald, bar brawler in me (I think that's who his target audience is).

As for working with a Finch - just let them know that their stuff is inhumanely great (not entirely sure what that means). If I had the money, I'd film a movie around their music. Though, apparently they have already broken up...

You're right, sometimes ads and music preferences don't match up exactly right on our site. We'll keep working on that, and we'll take your feedback into consideration.

You might find it interesting that one of the members of The Finches actually works at Pandora. Weird coincidence, right?
He just told me he does indeed like to pump iron. (he then admitted that he was kidding.)

i even got linked! but it's just a variation on a theme. i don't think september 11 really changed all that much to affect people's freedom in this country. why else would george orwell have written 1984? big brother is around and it has always been around. this isn't conspiracy thinking. for every watergate that is exposed, there is likely 20 others. for every gulf of tonkin that is found to be a completely false of going to war, there's another 20 that are just as brutal and just as dispicable and just as harmful to regular americans.

problem is. they aren't found out and like that revolution, they aren't televised.

i'd say you're nuts for saying you hate flying...but recently with the 14 hour lines and overcrowded flight schedules, it hasn't been all that enjoyable. sad - i miss pre-osama days when it was fairly laid back.
